Hey, I'm looking into buying a used DJ frame. Any suggestions on a which frames are super heavy that I should stay away from. Right now I have an old 2001 azonic ds-1 frame. Looking for something for dirt jumping.

If you´re looking for a light frame i would take a look at the dartmoor two6player. Good quality, nice geometry, about 2kgs and the best thing is that they cost just about 200-250 bucks (at least in europ)

If you have the money a trek ticket ($750) or trek ticket s ($1469) are extremely light. Those prices are new so you can find one used a lot cheaper.

If your frame is between 5 and 6 pounds, you're fine. After all, suspension forks are like 4-6 pounds as well, compared to like 2-ish pounds for a bmx rigid fork. There's only so much lighter an MTB DJ frame should be, before your sus fork makes the bike too front-heavy....

The Cryptkeeper is well balanced and will make dirt jumping a breeze:

The aluminum Giant STP frames are pretty light. Buddy of mine had his down to like 20lbs with pedals. And it was still dirt jump worthy.

Its not the "Lightest". But with frame weight of 4.5 lbs the Banshee AMP is close. I love it

Lightest I've found is the Supercoss "shine" it's stated to be.3.88 lbs
