Profile picture on iPad?

Hi, I'm new here... I've tried searching for this and found nothing so apologies if it's been asked before. I'm trying to upload a profile picture but all I have is an iPad. I can select the photo I want and upload it, but when it gets to the cut and crop screen it won't let me adjust it, so it's just taking a tiny square out the corner of the picture...? Any help would be most appreciated

I too am having this issue. If you get a fix, please let me know.
