Hi all, I need to upgrade my enduro bike wheels for Christmas. I need a strong, (preferably a nice click too) don't have to be light, shimano fitting wheels fit for enduro racing. Budget of around £600 currently running shimano xt wheels... Any suggestions ?? (100x15 and 142x12)

Lots to choose from, plus lots of good reviews too

Need to be more specific-

15x100 front ????

12x142 rear ????

For the money, Mavic XL pros are pretty damn good and are greatly discounted if you search online

Depends where you live too

I have Hope Enduros on Pro 4s and they are kick ass. Strong, not too heavy and look nice.

Go wide. 30mm internal diameter makes a big difference to how tyres behave....

When my current rims break i'm going for the new Hope tech 35W rims on Hope hubs. Same as the tech enduro's just wider! And well within your £600 budget...

Hope Custom build from CRC. (They're offline atm, but will be back online shortly)

Stans or Easton Arc rims.

Or WTB Asym i29's are decent rims.

Anyone know how DT Swiss e 512 rims are holding? Got myself for free Novatec 771/772 hubs and i was thinking about building wheelset on those but i can't decide on rims and spokes. Also i have in mind Enduro racing.

They are good, a little bit heavier but they are wide and strong.

Check out Stans Flow Mk3? Might be quieter than you would like though.
