there was a sweet dirt jump park by the university. it was hidden in this reall nice little forest. not many people knew about it but then some kids told alot of people, and soon enough people where all over it. the university found out an dbrought a huge bouldoser in. they tore the whole thing down and did more damage to the trees and stuff that we had ever done.

hey man im doing the same thing you are. the worst thing that could happen is you would have to take out the jumps.

The worst that happens is someone gets hurt on the land, the owner is liable, and can't afford court costs, so they have to sell their house to pay for it, and you've basically ruined their life. And that's aside from the problems you would face if you built on private land. The owner is fully able to bring you to court over it.

well if you get hurt you cant blame anyone but yourself. Ive been riding on private land now for the past 6 months and I havent got caught yet. so in other words dont wreck and you should be fine.

I'm saying someone, doesn't have to be you. Maybe a kid with overly protective parents.

Bottom line. Don't be retarded. Talk to the land owner.

Well if you talk to the owners and you sign a waiver and stuff with them and then put up signs that say "no trespassing" "danger" or "no liability" sort of stuff then you're liable for your own action and anyone else who comes on the land is trespassing

if you live in england u need public liability
its not to expensive for our jumps now it will be around £115
and £10 for the land really cheap
