pretty nice rat bike, haha. Looks really fun actually.

Brown helps, plus the finish is basically not a finish, and the build isn't really fancy, just value oriented. Seems like it's in line with the Explosif, no? I'm happy to debate further and then take it down if it's out. It think this is a place you can go off on a good tangent without fear of expulsion.

It appears that the definition of "Rat Bike" may end up being even more slippery than "Sexiest"lol

So far from posts it could mean (in no particular order) bodged, old, well used, unique or ugly, hacked, or brown. Maybe its all of the above and anything goes. Moral Rat Bike Relativism. Maybe its simply a mindset and a way of being...Wink

I think that I will hold off on posting for a bit until I can parse out exactly where this is going...

Well, its slippery but I say just post them,... as soon as we make all the mistakes we shall find the right amount of "rat"...

I think a rat bike should be minimal in a certain sense; must have a certain degree of DIY / hacking, punk; must be dirty as opposed to clean / sterile / finished .. it is a niche bike, that's for sure, but one interesting and decadent in the same time

As I said, brown is not a valid criterium.
