Haha, I think we might have different ideas of what qualifies as a rat bike.

Yeah that's a nice ride. I guess the benefit if a ti frame is they age well.

Rat bikes should be maintained with as little cost as possible.
All spare parts that came off something else.

Kludge fixes are welcome as are scuffed, scratched and well used frames and/or parts.
Everything is pretty thrashed

Stock builds are not welcome.
Definitely not stock

Form follows function, but style wins. Ingenuity will be awarded.
?

Posting your own bike is fine.

Seemed like a rat bike to me, is the titanium throwing you all off? It was welded in Taiwan, if that helps.
Thanks though, it's nice to know some people think it's ok. Everyone laughs at the mismatched colours and mullet wheels.

And I thought I was the only one who wrapped my TT with tape to prevent damage from bars rotating too far. I'm glad im not alone - altho I use clear 3M tape now.

That's high praise. Didn't want to come off all defensively. Just didn't want to get blacklisted from the best thread on the forum.

Same here, just thought it was a very nice looking bike for these pages.

Mixed feelings on the Rootdown.

Part of me likes it because its an original use for the frame. The other part of me thinks it's a waste of a good frame..... (Argh - first world problems...)

The Mone def needs and angleset.

Very funny build on that Rootdown.

Reminds me of the time I put 700c wheels in my Bagger and used it as a commuter.
