Anyone know if the 7.1 can take 29er wheels? I am aware that the BB height would increase (if its possible). Also any ride reports?

Hi, I hope this helps you with your decision.

Minion DHR II 27.5x2.8
- Approx 18mm to SS bridge

Minion DHR II 29x2.8
- Approx 6mm to SS bridge

Therefore BB height increase is approx 12mm not including tire sag. Tire sag on 2.8 is greater than 2.4 so BB height increase will be less than 12mm.

Thanks again for the pics, a few more questions; does the 29 tire hit the seat tube when bottomed (shock aired down?) how is the bb clearance? also any bike ride reports? Doesn't seem to be many out in the wild.
