Amyone know of what coil shocks will fit on a 2017 remedy

I want to do this too on my 2017 remedy 7. Due to the complicated metric sizing so far none fit unless you take a risk and try fitting with offset bushings but the new super deluxe coil is releasing which has the size. But none of the deluxes so far have been sold separately so chances are it will be tricky to get your hands on one.

Let me know how you get on with this. The standard shock is so lifeless and hard to tune.

Let me know if any of you guys have gotten any news of coil shock fitment. I would love to put a coil on my 2017 Remedy to improve rear suspension.

Still waiting on dhx in metric size. The standard shock is boring.

Why not give the X2 a try ? It's not coil, but it still might be an improvement tho.

The metric X2 isn't out yet at least where I am

TF tuned are building me a Ohlins ttx 22m for my Remedy. They have ordered the parts to convert a 200x57 to make it fit. Reckon about 2 weeks till I get it.

You have three offerings out there that will all work...

Cane Creek DBCoil CS has one (you need to call them)..
They have stroke reducers and everything that you'll need.

Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil 230 x60mm...
DHX2 230x60mm...

Both of these shocks fit just fine. They increase the travel from 150 to 158mm and it clears everything just fine, from what I understand.

Seems to me that they'd both void your warranty.

I have zero interest in running a 60. The x2 is fine. Once I can get a DHX2 in 57 I'll do that.

I can confirm that the RS super deluxe 230x60 works just fine. Ran it on my 2017 rsl. Probably voids the warranty but I did 6+ months of rowdy mostly dh riding on it with no problems. Ended up taking it off because I was between springs and didn't want to drop the extra money on a SAR. On a side note, if you take the travel spacer out of the deluxe air that comes on the bike, you get a 230x65 shock that also works fine and makes your remedy into a 170mm beast. Best paired with a 170mm fork. That definitely voids the warranty too but has been working fine for me. Removing the spacer requires taking apart the damper and then rebleeding it but if you want to a one way job and never look back just melt it off with a sottering iron
