My right side RACEFACE ATLAS PEDAL seem to have about 1mm horizontal play, but all to bolts seem to be tight so i don't understand whats wrong... Left side doesn't have any play.

Does anybody know a good replacement headset for the jeffsy 27. That across headset is unececarily massive so I would prefer a flat bearing top cover/seal with some extra spacers. Any ideas?

So while transporting my CF Pro home in the car without the front wheel on today, this fell off from somewhere on the Fox fork or nearby. Any clue where it came from? Heck if I can figure it out.

Maybe something from your front brake.

It's probably a bleed port plug from a brake caliper.

My first real gripe with my CF One is the saddle. Every ride i'm getting such a sore arse/gooch. It seams to chafe just on the start of my arse cheeks moving away from my gooch.

I've never had a problem with any saddle before so I ignored it at first and just thought i'd get used to it but after yesterdays ride in the heat I've decided its got to go. The pain was actually making me want to stop riding.

Anyone experience anything similar? Any recommendations for an alternative. I'm guessing I need a narrower saddle but its so hard to find that kind of info when shopping online. Without seeing them next to each other its guess work.

Yep the saddle's rubbish. Swapped it out after one ride, hurt like a mofo, specialised henge is my go to. And the grips had to go, too small in diameter. Otherwise the bike is mint. What tire are you running on the back of yours? Looks different to standard.

Yeah i swapped the rear out for a Maxxis Minion SS. I like the faster rolling (sometimes sketchy lac of grip) in a straight line. Its good fun, especially when its dry in the summer.

Saddle wise I'm looking at the race face AEffect but its a gamble.

Didn't your bike come with an extra flat cover in the parts bag?
I know mine did, I haven't used it as I like the stack height, but it's there.
Looks like the one in the top right of this picture:

That is definitely the Bleed Port cover of your brake calipers.

I didn't really have to adjust anything. Brakes have a solid feel so I didn't bleed them. Gears shifted without issues, brake levers were angled pretty much dead on for my riding position. Only changes I made were to move the dropper lever inboard of the brakes and adjust the angle of the shifter trigger. The tires were a bit difficult to get the bead to set, but I sort of expected that since they're the non-tr version. I don't really want to replace brand new tires so I'll probably just stick with them until they wear out.

The eagle drivetrain is super quiet and I think the e13 hubs have a unique sound which I happen to like. The sdg saddle is really nice - much better than other stock saddles.

Also, the bike came with a small pack of finish line carbon assembly compound and tubeless valves. Wheels were pre-taped.

Did a couple rides on it so far. This bike likes to go downhill, that's for sure. Compared to the 29er it replaced, it seems climbing and flats are comparable, but I carry so much speed through the downhills it's almost scary (almost...it eats it up, though). It's also a much easier to jump.

Which 29er did it replace? Jeffsy 29?

Nah, it replaced a 2014 DB sortie 2 29er. The sortie was my first FS bike. It was a good bike and I did a bunch of mods to it (1x conversion, brake swap, shifter swap, dropper post), but it was super heavy (~35lbs, 16kg) and my riding style has changed. I like jumping and hopping around a bit and the sortie just wasn't an easy bike to jump, manual, or point down. It was a good bike, but I outgrew it. Straight away I can bunny-hop the jeffsy at least 6" higher than the sortie.

Finally got my CF One in black on Friday night. Was away this weekend so I built her up last night, pretty damn stoked on it. Two questions for CF One owners:

1) Did you get the fancy E13 tubeless valves in your kit? I did not. My friend who bought a CF Pro did get the valves.

2) Are there port covers for the internal routing ports on the downtube? On mine there aren't, the cables just go in. I thought there would be rubber grommets there to hold the cable tight/stop rattling/keep water/dirt out?

Haven't had a chance to ride it yet, will report back when I do later this week.

Right there with ya, the saddle sucks! Even when wearing padded shorts, my sit bones are sore within a hour.
Measured my sit bone width and ended up ordering a WTB Pure V Race, should be here by the end of the week. Having never ordered a saddle I was a little over whelmed with all of the choices. I'll let you know how it is.

Andy one had a clunking noise in their fork/headset area? Mine seems to do it more when pedaling out of the saddle, I don't hear it while descending though. Any ideas- lube headset? Tinker with fork? Thanks!
