Well just saying I want a DH or F/R bike is pretty vague. This topic has been discussed before. Lets see what will happen. . .people will say you need this bike, then someone else will say no that bike is junk. So you really wont find anything out. Just stick to a reputable brand and you cant go wrongMoon

You might want to be more specific on what type of bike you actually want. You say you want to do Downhill and Freeriding...to what extent? Which one do you want to have your bike more geared toward? Do you have any personal favorites with brands or linkage systems, because you can get just about anything one year use for 2500... Check classifieds on here, Ridemonkey and mtbr, usually can find good deals.

l am leaning mroe toward freeride because there is not many hills and stuff in ontario. And thanks for the other sites. Also l am looking for companies like transition,rm,specialized, kona, maybe giant, cove.I am riding a 2006 norco 4x right now and l would like something with more suspension and maybe not a norco? It would also be nice if the bike was in ontario.

okay well l narrowed it down to three bikes and l guess l went to the downhill side of things. The bikes are 2006 norco team dh with totems for 1800,2006 trek session 10 around 2500,and a 2007 brodie devo for around 2500.What is your guys input on what bike l should get/what would you choose. l am going to be doing a trade to get a freeride bike soon anyways.

i would go session 10 it retails at like over 5500 american so thats definetly a good deal. There suppose to be amazing freeride bikes and are known to pedal well because of there chain torque eliminator. Its nice because it handles all downhill stuff but at the same time is amazing for freeride and jumps well. Who do u know thats selling one for so cheap? he must be sponsored for sure. If you want i'll buy the session 10 for 2800 off u?
