You can change your fork easily. A taller fork may change your bike's geometry. when looking for a longer travel fork, you should consider the axle to crown measurement of the fork that you are looking at and compare it to the stock fork... some frame manufacturers give you a range of axle to crown heights.

Putting a longer travel rear shock on your bike is not a practical possibility.


maybe just Consider buying a new bike. You should get fairly good re sale on your current ride, and the cost of a new fork and now shock, would likely offset any loss.
