Sram drivetrain questions

Hello, I'm looking to upgrade all my drivetrain parts and am thinking of going with a 8x3 setup. I'm looking at the following SRAM parts:
-PG850 8 speed rear cassette
-S600 chainset (I believe that's the correct word, I mean the gears that are by the pedals)
-x4 shifters, obviously 8 and 3 speed ones
-X4 rear derailleur 7/8 speed
And this is where I'm stuck, the front derailleur.
First of all, is all this compatible so far, second, what front derailleur should I get, cheapest possible SRAM one that would work with this setup please.
Possibly X9 9 Speed? I have no clue.
Any help is appreciated and please forgive my ignorance haha!
