Hi Canadaka, I have been trying to use the Ride Planner but cannot get it to route on city or municipal roads. I can only get it to route on the trails that have been added to Trailforks. The instruction below is from the Ride Planner tool page and seems relevant to what I am trying to do:

"The yellow box on the map shows the area near trails where routing along roads is allowed. Selectable roads are only available when you zoom in close."

However, I cannot see any yellow box on the map even when I zoom in to the maximum extent. The region I am in is Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

Seems the routing area there has grown quite large, to encompass all of Tasmania. Grown too large that the number of allowed roads has been exceeded.

I've added some checks months ago to try and prevent this. So I will delete the routing area and re-generate some smaller ones, then it should work.

Hi CanadaK

I think I have a similar issue? I'm trying to create a bikepacking ride plan between two close by regions but I am not having success linking the two with rural roads.

I tried editing the regional boundary of the first to encompass all of the destination region but that didn't seem to help.

Thanks.
