Yeah I rode both yesterday from Quench cycles at Gravesend Cyclopark as im local
A medium T130S with SRAM Componants but they only had a large T129 and that was a T129RS with Shimano.. Preferred the T130S with SRAM to be honest..
Im going from a tripple to a 1x11 and im worried about how ill get on as I ride cross country mainly sometime joined up by some roads so think might end up spinning like mad with the 10 - 42 cassette

So basically I'm still confused.
I've ridden with a few good riders on T129s and there is no doubt it is a fast and fun bike. Given the feedback from the riders, it certainly isn't some wagon wheel XC rig that is only good at crushing terrain as fast as possible.
I prefer the 650b wheels on my T130 coz I enjoy pissing about and jumping in the woods and am not so bothered about KOMs or riding more open trails. That said, I can still get my weight overt the front and pick my way up some surprisingly aggressive climbs. That's good enough for me!
On the spinning out issue, a couple of larger chain rings (£30?) should sort that out. 1x11 is so easy to modify - it's one of the best things about it.
