I just put on a minion dhf on the front and an aggressor on the rear both in double down casing. Awesome combo so far, can't complain in the slightest.

I am liking Schwalbe Magic Mary snakeskin Trailstar front and Hans Dampf snakeskin speedstar rear that came standard on my 2017 Giant Reign 1. I think it is a good combination of grip, speed and weight.

Magic Mary front, Hans Dampf rear seems to be the most popular combo around atm.

Super gravity casing if you want the best protection and grip but they're pretty heavy. Snakeskin & trailstar compounds for mix of grip, a bit lighter and mild protection, bike park for cheaper end.

Maxxis Shorty front and a High Roller II is another good option.

Use a Rock Razor or a Minion SS if you want a faster rolling rear tyre.

I use Magic Mary up front with Nobby Nic at the back, I went for lightness after reading this review.

yup. i run an exo up front to keep the weight down and have no issues with it. if you want a really fast rear end, try a griffin.
