Why dont just take it apart and measure the headtube size? If its shot you won't be riding it anyways in case of damaging the headtube/fork.
I'm guessing its a straight 1 1/8 fork?
My Stinky 09 has a 1.5 headtube, but i think older headtubes are smaller...

Take it apart and do this :

Then post on crc/ebay etc "headset 1 1/8 44mm" for example...
