Just took apart my bmx cassette for the first time and I was really shocked when it started spewing ball bearings and it was a really wiered design. It has the splines and the teeth on one sprats part and the little ratchet things that ping up and down on the inside of the hub and they cannot be accessed easily. The bike is a tempered bikes so it not a terrible make or anything. Is there something really dumb and obvious I'm missing or is this a strange design?
