Thoughts on buying a used Versus Blitz

Hello, new to the site. new to mtb.
i am looking at a used bike being sold, but it is a brand that i haven't heard of. Has anyone ridden a Versus Blitz before.

Pretty old bike, a lot has changed since then and I bet you could find a better deal on the buy/sell area here. What kind of price range are you working in?

i was hoping to keep it under $750. The Versus that i am looking at was going for $680, , looked like it was in good condition.

That can be a tough price point to hit, if you can get about another $250 you get into way newer bikes that will last a good bit longer and be more fun to ride. If you are stuck at that price point though look for something from a major name brand that is still in business, makes finding replacement parts a ton easier.
