Hey guys, could use some help...

Running the mentioned fork 160mm FIT4. Its was serviced twice last season and had no issues. Before a trip last week i took a little pressure out and gave the rebound a few extra clicks to give it some liveliness because i would be hitting less drops. First time i pulled the front end up on the trail i noticed a little clank but nothing concerning, it continued throughout the weekend. Now when i compress the fork, and move the oring all the way down the stanction, then pull up, it shows about 1/3" of "dead space" that will reappear. This most certainly was not happening last season or early this season.

Im having my local shop swap seals and change the oil, but i dont think thats going to fix it. Any ideas on whats going on? Is it the dampener?

A little clank is never good. Take it apart and look!
