Hey gang. Just wondering about 27.5 boost bikes. I would like to try a 27.5 boost bike with 2.6 to 3.0 tires on it.

Any advice on which bikes I could look at?

Devinci Kobain

I second the kobain. I have one and it's awesome. Best bike I've ever ridden, and it took me a lot further than I thought it was going to. I'm just getting back into mountain biking and this completely brings my confidence back from 10 years ago.

Cannondale Bad Habit is a riot to ride. As is thier Beast of the East if you want hard tail. Or you can do as I am and go Giant Trance (2017) and convert it to plus. Currently running mine with 3 up front and 2.8 in back. Fun as hell, all of them.

Try before you buy.

Would help if you gave a bit more info on what type och 27.5+ bike you´re after. Hardtail or fs? XC, Trail, AM or Enduro etc?

My 1st choice would be a Rocky Mountain Pipeline, same as my Altitude but "fattie" tires. For a hardtail, Specialized Fuse. I am happy with the 2.4s on my Altitude, but hear Altitudes will fit 2.8 front and 2.6 rear if I want to try something bigger when mine wear.

The pipeline has a little more travel than you are looking for, but I am very happy with 160/150 on my Altitude. The shocks are stiff in climb mode and the bike climbs great, switch to descend and the bike is a beast downhill.

Hard to beat a devinci troy 2.8 dhf front 2.6 dhr or hi roller in back 15_18 psi. It's like cheating

Devinci also makes 27.5+ bikes too. Used to be Django but they changed some models this year I think.
