I want to try a 2.35 front tire on my 2015 Giant Anthem SX.

Rims are 2015 P-XC2. My main concern is the rim wouldn't be wide enough. Will it have a sloppy feeling or burping issues? Currently running tubes anyways.

Yes, it's OK.

I have Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2,35" on this rims without any problems.

A little more searching tells me this should work. That this is not the perfect setup but fairly common.
