Just bought a Marin Quake 7.8 and it's not far off new condition.

Tuned the bike upside down to oil the chain and could hear oil moving in the fork. I am new to this and assumed it was normal.

Anyway, the front fork will only compress perhaps a third of it's travel now. It just will not budge further than that.

Any ideas? My heads going... Haha

Try turning the rebound knob all the way to rabbit then cycle the fork.
