I want to put a rigid fork on my dj but since the 26" wheel size fork lowers the front end can i put a 29" rigid fork on the 26" frame

Average 26" bike will need a fork with an a-c length of 415-425mm.
S&M makes forks in many lengths. Below is my 26" Misfit with a 425 Pitchfork.

Dj street or dirt? Something to think about. Almost all rigid forks will lower your front end. Rebate XL is the longest- dont bother, too long stick with 435mm youll get used to it

The Rebate isn't really too tall. Same as a Susp fork. Here's my rebate 465mm on my Ritual, didn't change bb height from previous Argyls. Plus you can still run. 20mm axle hub Smile

You running the XL? I just picked up a set of the non-XL's,...425mm... anxious to see how the ride is being a bit shorter than my DJ2's

Yup,those are the longest ones. Basically susp correct. The right choice really depends on the frames initial geometry.

They look good. I may end up going with the XLs.

May end up with qty2 DJ2 20mm's for sale if I like the feel of the ridgid forks.

To my knowledge they never made a 450 length with 20mm axle capabilities, only 10mm standard. You’ll need to look at another brand…..unless you have an adaptable hub.
I’m currently running a 450 Black Market fork 20mm on my Streetsweeper, you could contact them to see if they still have them or can make you one.

Identiti XL is 465- and isn't stable at that height, they are crap... you wont find another manufacturer who makes rigids that long(obvious reasons) Around 435 is going to be the max length you'll find from most manufacturers- you want rigids to be solid not flimsy.

P.s. Heads up- Dont use Alloy bars with rigid forks, its crap. Use steel

i had a rebate xl 465mm for 5 seasons riding dirt jumps and street with pegs and i will not ever claim that its flimsy, infact i was always impressed with it but on a 20ft gap i cased and it bent forward a bit not at the steer tube but lower down. identiti made a rebate that was offered 435mm and also 450mm (on the website) but the only 450mm i found is in UK and that amazon post says it wont ship to us.

blackmarket is acting realy unrelaible lately
the pickle fork is unavailable
trail blade has mixed reviews
id almost settle for s&m but dont want my BB to be lower than my axles
fbm is expensive and waiting for custom work...

i rode a 20" for the first time this winter so im kinda open to a slight drop in headset hight but not too much. its going on an NS capital

Agreed, I’m not sure where the other dude is getting his opinion from on the Xl. I’m 180lb aggressive dirt/park rider and have owned two XL 14/20 Identiti forks, they are hands down the strongest rigid I’ve ever owned....out of many brands. Not only super strong but NOT flexy at all.
I was only aware they produced the 465 and 425 in the XL and 425 and 450 in the standard dropouts. Is that still the case?
