My Fox Transfer post is int going the way up (even out of the bike, so it's not the collar tension). The post has on 8 or nine rides in dry Colorado. Paid full retail so really like to solve this

Any suggestions?

Have you tried adding cable tension with the tension adjuster on the lever? I've found that once or twice I had to increase cable tension (after a particularly rough ride with significant vibration).
