So, have anyone tried to put a 180mm Lyrik on their Enduro 29? Seen a few 170mm but no 180mm.

I use one offset bushing at the moment and really enjoying the slacker and lower geo, but it would be fun to experiment with the extremes. What about:

180mm lyrik + the new link and extension (in low settings) for the 2018 models.

Should get a really slack HA and keep the BB low but not too low. Haven't done any calculations on the geo yet.
Or is this just a crazy idea that won't work at all?

I ride most technical descends or bike park.

Keen to hear some input on this, do they make a 180mm 29 lyrik yet? Keene runs the 170mm lyrik so it's a good fit for steeper EWS gnar. The new flip chip is on order for my Sworks but I currently run the ohlins 160mm

Not sure, but I ordered a new air shaft that hopefully will extend it to 180mm. Not entire sure if its possible to use that part yet. If not I'll go with 170mm.

Awesome, keep me posted on the possibility of going to 180mm. I'm considering the 170mm lyrik now!!!

I did changed the air shaft this weekend without any trouble, so the Lyriks travel is now 180mm. But i havent had time to test it yet since my rear shock is being serviced. There was a marking on the air shaft stating "pike/lyrik 180mm".

If it's too much with 180mm I'll drop it down to 170 mm.

Just had 3 days riding bike park here in Sweden (Åre), but with a lot of wind, rain, snow! and mud it wasn't the perfect time to test the extended travel (and one offset bushing)...

I however feel that the bike did run really smooth with the extra travel and slackend HA, even in tight corners. The increase control in the descends was just awesome. I probably keep running the 180 mm this season out.

The only thing that wasnt as great was that the front easily lifts from ground when pedaling.. but since I only ride bike park this weekend I cant really say how big of a problem this really is.

Did a few extra laps on the local bike park this weekend on the trail that I built and I gotta say its just freaking awesome with 180 mm on descends. The bike front is much smoother and calmer now!

But haven't really got the Monarch to play as smooth so planing of changing it, maybe to a coil (ohlins)

When you guys got your air rods out throw on a Vorsprung Luftkappe air piston. They are worth it.

Didn’t think lyrik went to 180 in 29’ wheels.

I stand corrected! F**k I bet they’re massive!

I’ve just put 180s in my 17 enduro elite with a 18 Flip chip and Devin air can! Can’t wait to get out again to see what it’s like

Please share the details on and what offset bushing you are using.

I am thinking of adding one to my '18 Enduro Pro 29. Would love to do an angleset but not an option with integrated HS.
