Halifax riding in December and January

Off to Halifax for a month over Christmas to spend time with the inlaws.

Is there any use in bringing a bike for that time? And what kind of riding will there be?

Losing a month of summer riding isn't ideal.....

It will be kind of cold, some of the trails will be rideable though. There is a pretty dedicated crew in the HRM and if there is snow on the ground they will pack it down with snowshoes. It's been awhile since I've lived in Halifax but I rode all year round when I did live there. Check out ecmtb(dot)net it's the local riding website.
