Hey guys! I just got a "new' (new to me) cross/gravel bike and I have a SRAM Rival 10 speed shifter on a sram apex 10 speed derailleur jury-rigged into a 1x10 set up. My derailleur is terrible and drops chains all the time. I'm looking to put a shimano saint or zee derailleur on it (I want a dh derailleur cause I plan to ride gnarly gravel with this bike, and sram dh stuff is stupid expensive), but thanks to pull ratios, I can't without a special converter. I'm looking at Jtek, but the Shiftmate 4 doesn't work with a 10 speed, and according to Jtek, that's what I would need to do this conversion. Any thoughts, experience, or suggestions are helpful. Try a Rival1. 10/11 speed compatible, XHorizon linkage, clutch. Cost about $100 on sale online. I have two. Ride rockgardens all the time. Never dropped a chain.
