I’m going to be in San Diego for a few days this weekend and I’m debating about bringing the bike. I took a look at Trailforks and it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot near downtown (I’m staying near the convention center) but maps can be deceiving. I won’t have a ton of time so I want to keep things within a 30min drive of downtown if I can... I mostly like Enduro-style riding but any fun trail will do.

Noble canyon is a must. Would recommend finding someone to shuttle to top though.

Mission trails/sycamore are good fun rides.
