I potentially can move to the LA area for work. Are there any areas that have decent biking close-ish that are good to live in? I would be coming from BC to escape the god awful rain and chasing sunshine.

I've lived in Temecula (About an hour from La) and live in Seattle now. The biking in BC/PNW is unmatched. There is pretty good am type riding in socal but compared to BC, the riding is no where near as good. Not saying there isn't pretty decent riding to be had but compared to around van or even the interior of bc, it doesn't compare. Just my experience Big Grin
Buy a dirtbike if you move to Socal IMO. Socal is like Whistler for dirtbikes
