Kinda found a thread like this but not quite. Here's the deal, gotta bunch of takeoff parts laying around and was wondering what some options are for hardtail frames with 148mm dropouts that will fit 27.5+ wheels. Also have a 150mm spare Pike that I'll likely have to shorten the travel.

My 15 year old son wants to ride, so instead of buying a new bike, why not build it? Most likely just be doing some XC/trail. So far I see the NS Djambo looks like it fits the bill.

What say you guys???

Here's a start:

* Chromag Surface ● Rootdown ● Primer
* GG Pedalhead
* SC Chameleon
* Salsa Timberjack

Check out the NS Bikes Eccentric Cromo 29. It fits a 29er wheel or 27.5+. Boost rear. Slack (65). Also, its on sale right now on Chain Reaction for ~$400 USD.

Curious, are they 27.5+ compatible?

The 2018 Honzo ST yes. I was able to squeeze 2.8 Maxxis Rekons on it, the '18 ST frame must have the same numbers as the the Big Honzo. Not certain on the other frames though.

Nice bike...
I am building the '17 version, which I believe has the same geometry and I was also able to fit 2.8 Rekons on the back. Waiting for my brakes to be delivered and then I can go for a ride.
What length crank arms did you go with?
