Lines/scratches on 2017 fox factory dps shock

So I'm wondering if I should be worried about this or not... I have about 60 to 70ish miles on this bike and I've noticed these faint lines that run the length of the stanchion on my shock and they go all the way around. I can't feel them with my nail and it doesn't seem to be losing air/fluid. I tried searching for it but couldn't find anything.... Anyone know what it could be? Thanks in advance!

Given that the marks are at the eyelet end of the shaft I'd not worry about them.
Agree with bigburd though, you should get rid of that dirt build up from around the wiper seal.
