I’m currently looking at purchasing an HTLT used. 2021 L frame. I’m new to the game and a heavy rider. 280lbs. Obviously will be riding light trails until I shed a few more pounds. Down from 350! In everyone’s opinion, will this set up work?

The HTLT last yr was 2019. Is it a 21 Hightower?

Woops lol! Showing how green I am. The above is the bike I’m looking at on here. Just wondering it would hold my weight on the basic stuff. Light trails and gravel for now. Thanks in advance for any input.

If I am looking at the right bike, that is a HT. The LT was an upper link shock mount.

Either way it’s the Hightower C XT. Sorry for the confusion

As a heavy rider myself, I have had no issues with my HTLT 2018. I ride with 110 psi in my 36 and 250-270 in my DPX2. You could throw in some tokens and ride with lower psi in both. Congrats on getting fit.

The newer frames are hefty as well. You will be good.
