My wife's looking for a good quality, modern geometry steel 27.5+ hard tail. Who's making them these days?

We've looked at:
Spot
Soma

Any other makers out there we should be looking at?

The conversation begins and ends here: http://www.chromagbikes.com/

The Rootdown is the 'value' 29/650+ option, the Surface is handmade in Canada (C. Dekerf) and is a little more on the all-mountain/trail side while the Primer is a little rowdier, and also built in Canada (M. Truelove).

The complete options are pretty great.

Surly Instigator 2.0 if you can find one.
Is a beast and has quality frame features although expensive for the basic kit fitted

Kona Honzo ST. I am currently building one and can fit some Maxxis Rekon 2.8's with a little room to spare.

Orange P7, but not sure it takes + tyres or not, and it's a bit pricey

Jamis Dragonslayer is super fun. Feels like a big dirt jumper that can actually be pedaled uphill.

Hello ! I'm looking for a 27.5+ or 29+ steel frame to mount with a 140mm fork. Not sure yet if I go on 29+ or 27.5+, but I was initially on Surly Karate Monkey or Krampus options, but both XL versions are out of stock in Europe (I'm from France). Could you indicate me good alternatives for steel frames, with real 3" tyre clearance ? see: ShowBox Mobdro Vidmate
Thanks

Chromag Rootdown BA or hold out for the Surly. They are super nice.
