I installed a new KS ETEN-R dropper post with southpaw on my daughters bike last week. It was working great and she had three rides without problems. Yesterday, we got to the trail and her dropper wouldn't budge. It was stuck upright. We store her bike in the garage and it is not hanging on anything or turned upside down. The cable is working fine and it still won't budge if I manually pull down the actuator. The seatpost is not too tight, as it was working fine, and I also loosened it completely to no avail. Anyone have any ideas on whats going wrong? I've tried adjusting the barrel adjuster and hopped my butt up and down on it, and it won't budge.
I'm not sure if this still applies to the newer ones, but when i worked in a shop and this happened, we contacted KS and they said to smack it around the collar with a mallet
