Purchasing from sellers on Pinkbike

Hi, I'm from Norway and I'm considering buying a frame from a seller on here. How do you guys usually do it safely? I was thinking of him putting up a private listing on ebay and me purchasing it through there. However, he doesn't have an ebay account. He does have paypal though. Will I still be covered if I send him the money and something goes wrong? Thanks in advance.

PayPal has some pretty stringent buyer protection as long as you don't use the "send money to family and friends" setting. If they complain regular buying will get them dinged with fees, just send a bit more money - that is used to cover their buyer protection.

What do you guys do if item bought from pinkbike is damage? And seller is doing nothing about the issue?
