Sight 29 - coil?

Hey guys

I'm wondering if the Norco Sight 29er is progressive enough to be run with a coil shock? I've got some figures but no idea what they actually mean:
Starting leverage ratio: 2.6
Finishing leverage ratio: 2.2
Average leverage ratio: 2.4

I was in my LBS asking about volume spacers for my sight 9. Bike shop guy told me he runs a super deluxe coil on his and loves it. gets rid of that harsh feeling of the monarch is what he said. Haven't tried it myself though. He also mentioned that a dpx2 would be a good upgrade.
