Best ankle braces to wear after a broken leg and dislocated ankle

i just broke my leg and dislocated my ankle about a month ago practicing for a downhill race, i wont be riding for good 5 or 6 months but i want to invest in a good quality ankle brace that will hold my ankle but still give some good movement for downhill, budget of about $200

As well, I wear another brace that is identical to it but that my doctor prescribed me over the space brace while my ankle is messed up. Doubling up( wearing both braces ) seems to keep it very solid and prevent hyper flex or rolling. I'll report back after I do some more riding with the braces.

Best luck with your recovery bro. I plan on always riding with a brace to prevent re-injure.

you could always try the 661 race brace from crc

Don't waste your $$$ on a universal product. Get a custom brace made up by an ortho specialist. An off the shelf piece is useless IME.
