Howdy,

I'm rebuilding my 2011 attack trail for a trip to the alps this summer. I replaced it for home riding with a shorter travel bike as our local trails aren't that rough. I've previously used a bigger bike for the alps, but have only ridden park and dh. This one will be all guided singletrack, so I'll need something i can pedal as well as smash the rougher trails, hence the AT.

Anyway, it needs a new headset and I'm considering fitting an angleset from works. Anyone done this with the same frame? It'll take the headtube angle from 66 to 65 or 64.5 degrees depending on which one i get.

How likely is it I'll spoil a good bike?
