Just read the Pinkbike review of the changes to the 2019 vs 2018 Lyriks, seems the news is out regarding 2 major changes with the topline RC2 model: new Deboniar air spring and the more adjustable High speed compression settings... looks like their factory response to the Fox 36 and Vorsprung's Luftkappe mods.
Has anyone found out what the new part #'s will be for the airspring and Charger damper? Since these are retrofit mods I'm really looking at bringing my 2018 up tp the new standard.
After reading the article, I think you have to buy the damper and air shaft assemblies. They are retrofitable with the older chassis. And they even put their prices in the article.
Yes, you're correct and its why I was asking if anyone found the new 2019 part #'s... can't order and buy them without those and there is no 2019 "Spare Parts" catalog online.
As of a few days ago, nobody had the part #s yet. The presser said they are 'available for order now' but that's for distributors. It'll be days to weeks before they are available. Slow boat from Asia to Long Beach...
Finally got the 2019 air spring for 170 mm Lyrik... gonna install & see what changes. Just got back from 3 day riding trip to central Oregon (Oakridge, what a great set of trails they’ve developed there) but early season with rain and snow melt... wished I had the update before going to have better small bump, roots and wet rock traction.

Have you tried the Luftkappe too?
It would be nice to have a comparison between the two...
I Have just upgraded my Lyrik 2018 170mm to a 2019 debonair 180mm air spring, Not ridden it yet, but I am finding that I have way too much sag, at the same psi as with the 170mm air spring. is this a consequence of having a larger neg volume?

I see RS has updated the Lyrik’s Charger damper again for 2019 and now there’s a rear shock mod/update to air Super Deluxe “Ultimate” (seen on new Santa Cruz Megatower bikes), anybody heard what the Ultimate is about?
