Kona Stab floating brake fitment problems

I still need some help for my floating brake issue and I posted in another forum but was hoping there would be some Kona experts here that have owned older Kona Stabs. Here is the link instead of retyping everything

Don't the spacers/bearing caps on the old brake mount pop out and then press into the new one. Or is the new ones bearing the same size as the axle. If it is a spacer will need to be made up to make it sit in the tight postion.
