XTC Jr 26+ hub - 148 OLD?

I just got an XTC Jr 26+ for my daughter. The website says "Boost rear", and it is QR, so I figured it would be 141 OLD. (Right? Rear boost hubs - 148x12 with a QR conversion kit are 141 OLD, right?) But this is 148 OLD. Is this some new "standard" that Giant just made up? Does anybody else make a 148 OLD QR hub?
