How to rebuild deity bladerunner pedals

I ordered the updated rebuild kit from Fanatik. It came with everything to rebuild both pedals. I ran into a problem, I can't get the old bushings out of the inside of the pedals. Any suggestions? I've about had it and I'm almost ready to shit can them.

I use an old tap to screw into the bushing and then wiggle/pull the bushing out.

Must be a YouTube video showing the pedals being rebuilt. How do they remove the bushings?

Did you ever finish the job? My TMAC bearings disintegrated on the way down yesterday. Pedal pulled right off!
