Hey how do they go about selecting place to have race venue. I do not understand why they go to these mountains were they basically build a track like a supercross event. There are so many mountains that have soo much natural length and terrain it would be hard deciding what to ride. Not saying Croatia isn't a nice place but not understanding why have an event where it looks as if they physically made or put every obstacle but a few in its place.

There are some stipulations. The track must have an uplift, space for a finishing arena, space for pits and most importantly very deep pockets to pay the UCI their exorbitant fees.
