I'm just getting into mountain biking. I've been borrowing a Juliana Medium. I'm 5'6 130pounds. I'm wondering if a small frame would be ok for me or too small? Any insight would be great!

Depends on the bike. If you find one you like check the manufacturers website for sizing guide for that bike. At 5-6" Im guessing a medium is about right for most bikes.

Yeah, I agree medium is probably right, just check the standover height that that isn't too much, just see how it feels, I like a larger bike personally, so I would stick with the medium, but see how it feels.
