My 7 year old is ready to upsize to a 24" mountain bike. She rides trails/mountain trails exclusively (bragg creek/canmore). Disc brakes are a must. A great front suspension would be great. She will be using it for a few years, so we are happy to invest in a great bike.

We are debating between
Norco Charger 24"
Frog Mtb 62cm
Rocky Mountain Vertex 24"
Specialized Rip Rock Comp

All are very similar in pricing. (900-1000)

Recommendations?

Any others we should check out?

Maybe take a look at the Kona stinky? I've seen a few kids on that bike and it looks pretty decent

Take a look at the Orbeas. I ended up doing a custom build for my daughter but I remember the Orbeas being really nice.

Have you looked into the fuel EX jr? We got one second hand for our youngest instantly improved his riding both climbing and dessending. Well worth the cost as it makes our trail rides so much more enjoyable. He's now just tall enough for a dropper and that has made riding so much easier for dad Smile
