Does it hurt? have you put a plaster on it? if in doubt nip down to your local A&E & have an expert look at it, better be safe than sorry.

In all seriousness if it looks like someone's run a lead pencil across your frame then its most likely a crack, post a pic and also tell us what the bike is and some wise guy will give you an instant internet expert opinion!!
