Biggest one I've ever put on one of those bikes for someone is a 2.6. Probably wouldn't go any bigger.

There’s not a huge amount of clearance in the rear, I have Hans danf 2.35 and I wouldn’t go any bigger. But Hans are the same size as a maxis 2.5. Plus size is over rated anyways just go ride your bike.

I'm more interested in changing my front tire to a 2.8 or 3. The rear is fine at 2.5.
