2017 and 2018 model have same MSRP, but can get a great deal on the 2017 model (25% discount).

However, 2018 model seems to be better specced, main differences being (2018 vs 2017).

Fork: Pike RC Solo Air vs. Fox 34 Float Performance
Drivetrain: Shimano XT SL M-8000 (30 x 11-46) vs SRAM GX (32 x 10-42)
Brakes: Shimano Deore 6000 vs. Sram Level T
Wheelset: Deore/RF AR 27 vs. SRAM/Alex DP23

Any thoughts : go for the 2017 or worth it to pay full price for the 2018 ?

(admit that I subjectively prefer Shimano drivetrain/brakes and RS suspension over SRAM/Fox)
