I will just say that I just switched out the airshaft in my MY17 34 to a 2019 EVOL airshaft and my brain is having a hard time with how much better the fork feels for just $35.

I started out with a 2017 27.5 boost fork Fit4 performance elite at 130, then went to 140 with the old style airshaft. Then I added ramp control, that was neat but I tended not to mess with it once I found the sweet spot. I wanted to try a 150 airshaft but the older styles were out of stock, Fox said I could run the new one just the same. Install was straight forward and no modifications were needed.

In a word I would describe it as supple, and confident, ok that’s two. The old airshaft just always felt harsh and overly stiff.

Only thing that’s odd is the medium setting feels less firm now... like I almost can’t tell between open and medium.
