Hi just wondering if there is any information surrounding the release date of the Trek Remedy 2019. What time of year are the bikes released as the Trek remedy 8 2018 is sold out across Europe.

Word on the street says "August." That's for both restocking 2018 and new announcement for Remedy 2019.

I wonder if there will be a 29er version of the remedy

Already available for about 2 weeks on blazingbikes.co.uk.. Really weird that it's officially not launched but one of the dealers is showing pics of the new frame... Not much of a change on first sight, except that the shock is now mounted directly to the frame and not to the chainstays. Also it seems to have more pronounced edge on the top tube, as there is a harder shadow. We'll see. Mine arrives in March Wink

No, just buy a Slash if you want a 29er.

They should be released soon.

Definitely not, see trekbikes.com and switch to Australia, the new Remedy models are up, although not all paintjobs available (missing Miami Green). Same for Slash, there is at least one paintjob missing (Miami Green fade to Bright Green). See blazingbikes.co.uk to see those paintjobs.

Remedy now has the shock mounted directly to the frame, same as in Slash. But that is cancelling the Trek's Full Floater idea which relied othe shock mounted on 2 floating points (which used to be seatstay link and extended chainstay), which was supposedly offering bottomless feel. We'll see how they advertise the non-Full-Floater design, it's definitely going to be stiffer Wink

Also a steeper seat tube angle.

I will get a 9.9 frame. Hope they will be released soon.

A bunch of 2019 Remedy's are in stock in the standard colorway. Just like the 2019 Slash, there is another colorway across all models which that one is not available until October/November depending on the model and size.

Remedy 7 and 8 are in stock now and some are in stock on the 9.7. But looks like there are more shipping this month for those and the higher models

The fixed shock mount is a welcomed change!

Trek did a soft release. They have a few on their website but aren't advertising it yet.

I really dig the Miami Green and then the Cobra Blood looks really cool in person.

What the hell is up with the R8 bumping up $400 in price but keeping the same build kit as the 2018 model? I was interested in a R8 till I saw this.

Weird, when I was checking R8 price, it was actually cheaper, however marginally.
